SKA/ukSRC to showcase radio astronomy at Physics at Work 2026
Date: 15 September - 17th September 2026
Location: Ray Dolby Centre, Cavendish Laboratory in Cambridge.
The annual exhibition gives students the opportunity to discover how physics is used across a wide range of scientific and technological fields, as well as learn more about careers in physics and related disciplines. Registration is now available via the Physics at Work 2026 website.
The SKA/ukSRC contribution is being developed to introduce students to the world of radio astronomy and the science behind the SKA. Plans include an interactive radio astronomy activity, alongside supporting display materials designed to engage students and showcase how radio telescopes help us explore the Universe.
The event will provide an opportunity to connect with the next generation of scientists and highlight the exciting research and career opportunities offered by radio astronomy and the SKA.
