The two-day meeting will bring the UK SKA community together to share updates and discuss science using the SKA Observatory (SKAO) and its pathfinders and precursors.

Sessions will include:

  • SKAO update on Construction and Commissioning – Tuesday 27 October
  • Early Career Researcher (ECR) Science Highlight Talks – both days
  • UK Science Verification (SV) and Key Science Project (KSP) planning workshop – Wednesday 28 October
  • UK Science Regional Centre (UKSRC) workshop – Tuesday 27 October

ECRs (PhD students and postdocs) are particularly encouraged to attend. STFC travel funding is available for eligible ECRs, subject to need. ECR travel support requests must be in line with the UKRI business expense claims, business travel and subsistence policy and should be sent to Simon Haynes (simon.haynes@stfc.ukri.org) and Jessica Atkinson (jessica.atkinson@stfc.ac.uk) for consideration.
